We here at CBS Packaging Ltd are continuing to monitor the developments concerning the COVID-19 outbreak. It is our highest priority to protect the well-being of our customers, staff and the supply chain. We are taking the advice from government guidelines, NHS and WHO sources to make sure we are doing the utmost to preserve our ability to operate .
We have been taking strong measures to stop the spread of the virus at all our plants. We have implemented stronger and strict hygiene practices that have been put in place the last few weeks. This includes having a rigourous hand sanitizing policy and hand washing practices of at least 20 seconds. We have posters across all our premises reminding our staff of the importance of using the strategically placed alcohol based sanitizers to stop the spread of infection and reduce the risk of exposure. We are also frequently cleaning and disinfecting objects and surfaces that are touched regularly.
We are following the UK government’s guidelines and our plants are only accepting visitors that are critical to the operation of the business. All visitors and staff are also advised to keep as much distance as possible in accordance with social-distancing guidelines. Any staff that have symptoms similar to COVID-19 will be sent home immediately and told to self isolate for fourteen days.
We will endeavour to keep our customers and staff updated and informed of the changing situation and what it means to our businesses operation. We will do our utmost to ensure the business, staff and customers are doing as well as we possibly can during this period of uncertainty.
